Job Description
Title: Chief Financial OfficerReports To: Chief Executive OfficerUpdated: 7/1/2021Salary: market competitive, based on candidate proposal and education and professional experience.  Summary:  The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial strategy, financial planning and analysis, financial reports, company audits, compliance, grant management and reporting, and bank relationships. They will collaborate with the CEO and the executive team to make decisions regarding company's financial strategy and operations. The candidate will possess a strong background in finance and management.  Duties/Responsibilities: ·         Oversees and supervises accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general accounting duties
  • Responsible for the inventory and capitalization of all agency equipment, computers, etc. per federal HHS guidelines and accounting practices.
  • Prepare all data for the compilation of monthly financial reports for the Board of Directors
  • Prepare bi-weekly payroll using employee time reports.
  • Prepare and enter monthly payables and payroll accruals.
  • Manage all accounts payable, including but not limited to invoice data entry, check runs, aging reports, account reconciliation.
  • Reconcile postings for various revenue and expense accounts as needed.
  • Budget preparation for agency and various programs.
  • Develop policies and procedures.
  • Reconcile all Accounting Activity through the multiple different systems 
  • Monitors billing personnel on payments and claims.
  • Manages financial portion of grants 
  • Corresponds with auditors to remain up-to-date with regulations and policy
  • Oversee the procurement of supplies, services, and banking needs. Obtain quotes to procure the best services and supplies in the most economical manner
  • Manage human resources
  • Provides leadership, direction, and planning for fiscal operations
  • Oversee the IT computer networking and related functions
  • Oversee credentialing and privileging for insurances and providers
  • Oversee Medication Assisted Treatment and Occupational Medicine employees
  • Prepare schedules for annual finance audit, Form 990, and Cost Reports
Qualifications: ·         Strong finance-based analytical skills·         5 - 8 years' of finance and accounting experience·         CPA required·         MBA or Master's in accounting/finance or related field preferred but not required·         Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required·         Requires experience with eClinicalWorks, Intacct, Microsoft applications, and comparable software systems·         Ability to multi-task and complete assignments within stated timeframe·         Knowledge of accounting/business practices, accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, taxes, and healthcare billing·         Ability to use computer accounting software·         Function as a member of a multidisciplinary team·         Ability to read, understand, and respond to detailed oral and written instructions
