With rapid growth comes opportunity. We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our team in Camarillo, CA. This is a full-time onsite, exempt position.
Responsibilities:
- Own the comprehensive monthly reporting and analysis of OPEX and CAPEX activities across all global departments; partner with functional owners to actively manage variability via risk and opportunity tracking.
- Assist with and support the preparation of the monthly financial statements, reporting, and analysis for Senior Management (Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews) and the Board of Managers.
- Assist in the development of the annual budget; monitor and analyze variances to plan and prior year performance.
- Maintain and improve department financial reporting tools and processes – Planful, SQL, JET Reporting and Power BI.
- Develop analysis of actual performance as compared to budgets, forecasts, and historical trends for support of financial investment decisions.
- Support month-end close activities, as required.
- Ensures compliance with and/or follows all organizational systems, programs, training, policies, and procedures as required and complies with relevant legal mandates. Seeks guidance as necessary.
- Actively supports and participates in the safety program, both for self-protection and the protection of other employees, by reading and abiding by all requirements in the Safety Manual and Injury Illness Prevention Program (IIPP).
- Carries out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical, and professional manner.
- Must be able to fulfill essential job function in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.
- Handles various other duties as delegated by the Director, Finance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or business related major required
- One (1) to three (3) years of experience in financial reporting and analysis required
- Understanding of accounting principles including previous involvement in monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities
- Ability to develop and deploy timely, accurate, consistent, user-friendly management reporting and analysis as needed to support the business
- Ability to utilize PowerPoint for the development of concise, user friendly, management and board-level presentations
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JDE, Dynamics Navision, Business Central, or similar required
- Experience working with EPM solutions such as Hyperion, Planful, BPC, Anaplan, Cognos, or similar preferred
- Exceptional Excel skills required
Salary Range (applicable to California):
$65,000 - $80,000 depending on experience
