The right person will help to develop, implement and execute the hotels strategic marketing strategies to attract potential customers and retain existing ones.
This person will be responsible for implementing marketing campaigns, initiating press releases and driving the public relations efforts of the hotel. Customer service focus, demonstrated strong leadership skills and an entrepreneurial spirit that positively affects the hotels financial performance are a must in this role. This position will report directly to the Director of Sales, Marketing and Events.
Duties Include but are not limited to:
Manage property websites (ensure all material is up-to-date, including copy and content. Report on website analytics.)
Media relations – welcome and host visiting media, provide media with press materials and field media inquiries.
Coordinate the appearance of all Organization print and electronic materials such as letterhead, use of logo, brochures, presentations, etc., and ensure all corporate branding strategies are met.
Develop and drive the social/digital media strategy
Maintain communications with Corporate Office
Align the hotel with strategic brand partners
Co-coordinating marketing campaigns with sales activities.
Overseeing the company’s marketing budget.
Planning and implementing promotional campaigns.
Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing communications.
Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant departments are kept informed of marketing objectives.

Three years prior marketing experience required
Prior hotel experience preferred, but not required
Clear, concise written and verbal communication
Results driven, energetic, and focused
Service oriented style with professional presentations skills
Excellent understanding of digital marketing, search engine optimization and how social media impacts this
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, Adobe Creative Suite for PC
Ability to work independently, self-motivated
