Job Overview:
The Manager of Restaurants oversees the complete operation of all Food and Beverage outlets within the Lodge at Spruce Peak. Duties consist of staff scheduling, outlet cleanliness, financial cost control, opening and closing procedures, food and beverage promotion and incentive programs, supervisor and staff training, while promoting a healthy and positive working environment in addition to minimizing the employee turnover rate, and ensuring policies and procedures of Spruce Peak are followed. The Manager of Restaurants provides sincere service through actions that display self-confidence, grace and courtesy to guests and colleagues.

Essential Functions:
  • Ensures a consistent, seamless and luxurious guest service experience
  • Addresses all guest feedback with the utmost confidence, grace and concern for their satisfaction
  • Works with the Food and Beverage Director to ensure the overall success of the department
  • Is responsible for inventories, purchasing, budgeting, and scheduling
  • Ensures physical atmosphere and cleanliness of the outlets
  • Orients employees to the department and resort and provides on-the-job training on job responsibilities
  • Provides feedback to the employee and department head on the employee’s performance of job responsibilities and performs regular job performance evaluations
  • Upholds all safety standards of Spruce Peak
  • Is able to communicate verbally and in writing in English
  • Is able to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 lbs
  • Is able to stand/walk up to 6-8 hours per day
