About this position: We are looking for a motivated Marketing Coordinator to join the Advertising team within our Marketing Department. This person will collaborate with the Manager and Design Lead to establish and manage marketing programs that will drive growth for the company.
This position will also work closely with the Communications, Special Events, and Technology teams to accomplish a wide scope of objectives. Specifically, we are looking for someone who: Enjoys being given a high degree of autonomy on a daily basis Is comfortable and excited about having ownership over campaigns from start to finish Understands the nitty-gritty details and can translate them into layman’s terms Knows how to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, pivoting as needs evolve Has high attention to detail and always reviews their work Applies logic to tackle problems that arise Is willing to roll up their sleeves and collaborate on department-wide initiatives Is confident enough to speak up in meetings and is more than just a “yes” person If this describes you, please read on! ~~~ Essential Tasks of the Marketing Coordinator: Collaborate on all functions of marketing including advertising, branding, communications (internal and external), digital marketing, merchandising, program analytics and evaluation, social media, and event planning Coordinate internal and external projects, business development programs, and strategic initiatives, tracking project progress against budget, deliverables, and outcomes Champion company brand identity by acting as a brand steward, upholding brand and trademark standards in all projects Organize, prioritize, and multi-task a variety of marketing activities along with providing general administrative support to Marketing team Work with various business lines on content creation, leveraging their subject-matter expertise and consistent messaging Facilitate all general advertising requests to Design Lead, proof ads to clients, submit ads for Compliance approval, and traffic ads to media partners/outlets Collaborate with marketing creative team to develop and execute yearly campaigns through creative concept, copywriting, design and approval process, media placement in all markets (traditional and digital), new associate onboarding, program evaluation, etc Maintain directory and inventory of marketing materials, ensuring all resources are current and accurate, and coordinate the creation of new materials as needed Communicate program objectives, timelines, and deliverables to affected associates, and provide instructions for use or promotion Track all promotional activities and related responses for monthly, quarterly or annual reporting Contribute content to internal and external communications as needed Assist with small sponsorships including all advertising requests and event promotional items Manage internal and external community campaigns and events Lend assistance for events, such as business receptions, client socials, press conferences, ground breakings, annual meetings, etc Secondary Tasks of the Marketing Coordinator (as needed): Provide additional support to Manager and department colleagues Proofread a variety of materials Interact with external and internal clients, as well as all levels of management and associates Assist Corporate Communications Manager with writing assignments, such as intranet news items, web content, and press releases Assist Marketing Technology Manager with leveraging content management systems (CMS), customer relationship management (CRM) tools, and business listings for strategic marketing and sales efforts Requirements To succeed in this role you will need: 2+ years related professional experience College degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field (preferred) Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel) Understanding of basic accounting procedures Availability to work 40 hours per week, plus occasional overtime Reliable transportation to commute to our Tallahassee-based office and to occasional out-of-office events Hybrid schedule to allow for work-from-home days to be discussed after training period is completed Ability to pass a criminal background check, credit check, and drug test Ability to learn and adhere to banking standards Benefits We know satisfied employees are key to a thriving business.
