The Engagement Specialist contributes to administration of care management. Provides non-clinical support to the assessment and evaluation of members' needs and requirements to achieve and/or maintain optimal wellness state by guiding members/families toward and facilitate interaction with resources appropriate for the care and wellbeing of members. The Engagement Specialist performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Performs computations. Typically works on semi-routine assignments.
The Engagement Specialist's decisions are typically focused on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments. Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction. Follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion. The working hours for the position are an 8 hour shift between 8:30AM and 6PM Eastern Time M-F with occasional role assistance needed until 8PM.
+ High School Diploma
+ Less than 3 years of technical experience
+ Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
+ Experience meeting productivity metrics in a call center or similar production environment
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
+ Ability to work independently in a home office setting
+ Associate's Degree
+ 3+ years technical experience
+ Microsoft Access proficiency
+ Administration support experience in the healthcare industry
+ Familiarity with care and well-being resources
+ Bilingual in English and Spanish
