Office Manager/Recruiter – Allen, TX

HumCap’s client is looking for an Office Manager with some Recruiting experience. This company is changing the way organizations communication and collaborate, as well as improving teaching and learning in the classroom. The Office Manager/Recruiter will be responsible for all internal recruiting, HR tasks, and office management. This is a full-time, direct hire role in the Allen office, and comes with the opportunity for growth for someone looking to progress into an HR Generalist, HR Manager, or Operations Manager role.

  • Coordinate, communicate, and distribute rollouts for all company-wide plans including a beach vacation taken at the end of the year!
  • Oversee internal and external communication, making sure that our company maintains a positive reputation as an employer (for example on Glassdoor, LinkedIn and social media)
  • Perform various office related tasks to contribute to company culture
  • Schedule meetings and appointments
  • Monthly monitoring all office-related expenses and budgets and reporting to executive management
  • Assist executive management with tasks, projects, correspondence, and other duties
  • Maintain the office condition and arrange necessary repairs
  • Update and maintain office policies as necessary
  • Organize office operations and procedures
  • Coordinate with IT department on all office equipment
  • Provide general support to visitors
  • Post job descriptions, filter resumes, source candidates, pre-screen and set up interviews as needed - sales, marketing, accounting, warehouse, technical support, etc.
  • Use skill assessment tools and tests to screen candidates
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new hires
  • Address employee queries regarding office management issues (e.g. stationery, hardware and travel arrangements)
  • Liaise with facility management vendors, including cleaning, catering and security services
  • Plan in-house or off-site activities, like parties, celebrations and conferences

3-5 years office management and/or sourcing and recruiting experience
• Excellent written communication skills
• Strong internal motivation to succeed. Ability to work autonomously and be a “self starter”
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, competitive and dynamic environment
• Ability to manage recruiting resources, such as job boards, social media and web crawlers
• Proven success identifying qualified candidates through LinkedIn and other professional networks
• Demonstrated ability to recruit on a national level at multiple locations
• Extensive knowledge of all full life-cycle recruiting components, including sourcing, qualifying, networking and assessing candidate skills
• Can handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and integrity
• Understanding of HR practices and labor legislation
