Position Overview
We are seeking a service-oriented and self-motivated professional to join our IT support team. In this role, you will work on maintaining and monitoring the computer systems and networks for our business. You will be tasked with solving complex technical issues and will also collaborate with team members across all departments to assist them with their technical requirements. Four focal points are Task Management, Project Management, Executive Level Support and Cyber Security.

Position Overview
We are seeking a service-oriented and self-motivated professional to join our IT support team. In this role, you will work on maintaining and monitoring the computer systems and networks for our business. You will be tasked with solving complex technical issues and will also collaborate with team members across all departments to assist them with their technical requirements. Four focal points are Task Management, Project Management, Executive Level Support and Cyber Security.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Executive-level desktop support and customizing solutions for top level leaders in the organization.
- Install, configure, and support on Windows based PCs and servers. Also included are related peripherals (iPads, iPhones, printers, tablets, etc.).
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with software or hardware; Windows, Office 365, SharePoint, TEAMs, etc.
- Walk colleagues or clients through steps to help them resolve their technical problems; deskside and remote. Manage the Work-from-Home employee base.
- Backup monitoring and remediation of PCs and servers.
- Monitor and inform Leadership of any trends based upon experiences and reporting metrics.
- Analyze management records and logs to spot underlying trends and potential issues.
- Support the implementation of new solutions, projects, and applications.
- Establish accounts for new users and assist with password or login problems – Active Directory experience required.
- Test, evaluate, research, and make recommendations about new technology for the business.
- Work with external Helpdesk Service Provider to support local and remote users in a level 1 to 2 capacity.
- Troubleshoot and escalate tickets to relevant third-party support vendors. Experience with Helpdesk or Ticketing system and building Knowledgebase.
- Research and recommend configuration for IT equipment.
- Participate in business-wide meetings to assist with technical requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a technical support role.
- Windows and Network Certifications are preferred, but not required.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting and Windows Group Policy Object Management is preferred, but not required.
- Working knowledge and expertise with a variety of software, hardware, and applications.
- Experience in Cyber Security Practices and Protocols.
- Willingness to solve complicated problems and see projects through to completion.
- Analytical skills to study problems and records and identify solutions.
- Team-oriented attitude to help other colleagues and departments with technical problems.
- Ability to physically lift computers/servers/printers/office equipment when needed.
- Availability to travel/work during hours outside of normal business hours for software updates, assisting employees in other time zones, etc.
- Strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills
- Project Management Mindset; manage time and priorities while simultaneously administering numerous tasks/projects.
