HR Assistant Full Time- Starting at $20/hour

Duties:
Receive and greet visitors and direct them to appropriate area.
Assist with scheduling pre-employment physicals
Responsible for onboarding new and rehired staff including; Preparing new hire files, making copies, assuring completion of paperwork, submitting background checks and verification of employment
Schedules orientation and follows up with employee and theirs managers to ensure their attendence
Maintains I-9 compliance.
Filing - Maintains Employee files to be survey ready
Responsible for filing all documents into active and terminated files on a daily basis.
Oversees completeness of 90/120 day staff HR files. When complete files them with all active files.
Tracks all required documents annually and sends reminders to managers. Licenses, certifications, annual education, perfomance evaluations (probationary & annual), etc. Follows up on missing documents.
Removes Terminated staff files, audits to assure that all required termination steps have been completed and files in Terminated filing cabinets.
Creates reports from ADP as needed
Handle inquiries from employees regarding various benefit plans
Coordinate training classes for managements and staff
Assist with HR projects as required
Assists designated HR Generalists
Required to maintain strict confidentiality of company and employee data
Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
At least 1-2 years experience in HR Field
Proficient with MS Office and Excel
Bilingual a plus but not required
