Office Manager
Hot Dog On A Run is a fast-paced and rapidly expanding pet care service provider in Hollywood, West Hollywood, Beverly Hills and surrounding areas for the last 14 years. The Office Manager is influential in keeping the company running smoothly. This position reports directly to the C.E.O., must work independently and will be the point person for managing a staff of 15 dog walkers and interfacing with our clients. This is a job for someone who sets the tone for our work environment and knows how to manage employees. Must apply online, no phone calls please.
Requirements include, but are not limited to:
Must have phone/text/writing skills and reply to clients in a timely manner
Must be knowledgeable of dog behavior and how to manage risks associated with animals
Generate the daily dog walking schedule
Manage client service requests
Send clients daily updates on their pets
Set up new client “meet and greets”
Managing walkers availability and schedules
Manage personnel issues and concerns
Enforcing company policies
Monitor dog walker’s GPS and keep them on schedule
Point person for sending and managing invoices monthly
Manage staff to maintain the facilities, keep the yard clean and sanitized
Be able to terminate employees if needed.
Be available to C.E.O. via phone, text or email during “off” hours
The ideal candidate will have:
A minimum of three to five years of experience in a management capacity
Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment and with limited supervision
Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and anticipate team needs along with ability to operate and promote an environment of teamwork
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including in person and text messaging / email
Strong organization, analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong team building skills and accountability
Ability to learn new software related to scheduling, route planning, GPS, electronic logs, etc.
Ability to work a full time schedule that may include weekends and some holidays
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent is required. Extensive verifiable experience in a relatable field is a plus.
