Job Description


Our client is seeking a Director of Talent & Culture who is a team builder, supports all leaders and colleagues within the hotel, ensures company policies service standards are followed and that colleague engagement is high and financial goals are met. The role will plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies, initiatives, activities, and staff of the Talent & Culture department, ensuring legal and labor compliance and implementation of the mission and talent strategy.


  • Lead and oversee operations and colleagues of the Talent & Culture Department while collaborating with senior leadership on the implementation of HR strategy
  • Promote positive colleague relations through open communication, trust, mutual respect and fun
  • Assist Senior Manager with development of specific actions plans to address issues and concerns identified in colleague feedback
  • Administration of HR programs including: compensation, benefits, leaves, disciplinary matters, disputes/investigations, performance, talent management, morale, training & development
  • Research and analysis of organizational trends from the organization's HRIS and talent management system
  • Compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Contributing to guest and employee experience
  • Assist and contribute to all employee events
  • Ensure compliance with company policy and local legislation in all HR functions


  • 5+ years experience in a hotel property, some luxury hotel experience preferred
  • PHR, SHRM, or college degree in HR
  • Expertise in Union environments and Collective Bargaining Agreements
  • Expertise in compliance, benefits administration, and wellness/safety initiatives
  • Strong computer skill and tech savvy
  • Passionate and eager to contribute to DE&I programs, events, and initiatives


• Full-time, exempt position offering $120-150k annual base salary + bonus
