Assistant Manager

Position Summary

The Assistant Manager assists the General Manager run the day-to-day
operations of designated location. Assist with managing productivity and
ensuring the locations team delivers world-class customer service to all
customers, monitors driver routes,cost control and expenses, and contribute
to weekly and monthly reports developed by the General Manager. The Assistant
Manager is involved with profit/loss, continuous improvement, service delivery
levels, personnel management and the overall success of the location.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Aids in the training of new hires including Administrative Assistants,
Dispatchers,Floaters, Leads, and Shuttle Drivers.

Establishing open lines of communication with employees, clients, and
IRL Directors and outside vendors.

Ensuring daily route coverage by being proactive and diligent in the
management of this task.

Provide division oversight in the absence of the General Manager.

CXT route monitoring, reporting, troubleshooting, and training support.

Providing document creation support, document printing support and
document submission support as directed by the General Manager.

Providing oversight to the shipper box program for the general
laboratory specimens.

Perform filing tasks for various purposes (personal, missed punch,
fleet, vehicle inspection, etc.).

The scheduling of vehicle maintenance, body shop submission, windshield
repair,etc.

Assists the General Manager in enforcing company policies, rules and
regulations.

Required Experience:

3+ years supervisory experience

Ability to operate a vehicle safely and have a clean driving record

Pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background & motor
vehicle report

Preferred Experience:

Bachelors Degree

Medical courier background experience
