As an Accounting Manager at Hopebridge, you will be responsible for timeliness and accuracy of accounting processes and data within the organization.

What You'll Do
  • Manage timely month-end close of general ledger accounts including journal entries (recurring, ad hoc, and accrual, complex accounting) to ensure proper recording of cash, prepaid accounts, fixed assets, depreciation & amortization, as well as other asset and liability accounts
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual balance sheet, income statement, cash flow and member equity statements
  • Responsible for detailed reconciliations and account analysis for all balance sheet accounts on a month-end and/or term-end basis
  • Ensure balance of all intercompany accounts monthly
  • Responsible AR entries to GL, revenue recognition, and reconciliation of AR and Revenue subsidiary ledger to GL
  • Responsible payroll posting and accrual journal entries
  • Responsible reconciliation of credit card receipts and accrual entries
  • Responsible lease accounting software, journal entries and monthly reconciliations
  • Responsible annual fixed asset roll-forward for all sites
  • Responsible for annual audit and other compliance requirements as required
  • Ability to work with CPA firm to provide taxation requirements. Ensure timely submissions of tax returns and other regulatory filings and payments
  • Collaborate with functional department managers to provide accurate, timely and relevant information for monthly variance analysis and management reporting. Monitor and analyze financial data against prior periods, budgets, and forecasts
  • Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts to determine cash availability to pay open accounts payable invoices. Improve and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, GAAP, and other regulatory requirements

  • Perform research for question related to accounting information for management and staff
  • Support companies' informational and process improvement needs with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and relevance, while minimizing Operational impact
  • Other miscellaneous duties, as may be assigned from time to time

What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting from an accredited university required
  • CPA required
  • At least five years of experience in the healthcare, property management, or general corporate environment required
  • At least two years of management experience required
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook Experience with SAAS accounting systems, including QuickBooks, Sage, Oracle NetSuite or other similar systems required
  • Must be able to multitask effectively and respond to changing deadlines and priorities
  • Must be able to operate standard office equipment such as a desktop, laptop, 10-key, and phone
  • Must be comfortable in a busy, everchanging office environment

  • Starting salary of $100K to $110K per year
