Communications Project Manager

Overview of Position:

Responsible for overseeing the execution of all projects of the community relations department including the project request process and the deadlines associated with each project. The individual in this position will provide excellent internal customer service and be the contact person for all department managers wishing to submit project requests. He/she will work closely with department members and help with project planning, execution, and strategy.

Qualifications:

Must be extremely organized and have a bachelor's degree and 3-5 years’ experience in communications and project management. Must have clean driving record.

Knowledge/Skills:

The CPM must have outstanding people skills and the ability to form trusting relationships in order to work collaboratively. Excellent customer service, written, and oral communication skills. Must have experience working with WordPress, Google Analytics, SEO, and social media. Must have advanced skills in all Microsoft products, especially Excel and Outlook and must be comfortable and efficient in running team meetings. Also, must have the ability to receive, task, and track a large volume of project requests.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Receive, log, and distribute all communications project requests.

  • Facilitate weekly communications projects team meeting.

  • Keep up with deadlines and timelines for all open communications projects.

  • Provide customer service to department heads and communications staff.

  • Manage and inform team members on updates to existing materials and projects.

  • Track spending and reconcile department budget. Participate in departmental yearly budget process as requested.

  • Submit purchase requests for all communications projects. Relay request approvals to the team member.

  • Work with local print shops to submit printing jobs, receive completed materials and distribute to the appropriate department.

  • Maintain advertising contracts and relationships with advertising representatives.

  • Receive and distribute all departmental contracts. Follow process until contract approval has been given and team member has been notified.

  • Provide additional assistance to designated service lines as applicable.

  • Assist with the content updates for the HopeHealth website and social media accounts.

    Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to travel in-state. Must possess the ability to communicate in the dominant language of the geographic region. Must be able to lift 30 pounds. Vision and hearing corrected to within normal limits is required. Must have manual dexterity to key in data; utilize computer, grab, grip, hold, tear, cut, sort, and reach.
