Logistics / administrative side
Responsible for overseeing and coordinating Global OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) service activity, including the collection and reporting of quality data. Creation and/or requests for Return Material Authorizations (RMA).
Responsible for overseeing and coordinating requests for material repair at the Global Repair Center. Works on assignments independently, where judgment to resolve problems is required. Requires minimal instruction for routine tasks and assignments. May lead, support and provide guidance to other associates.
May maintain records. Develops skills in basic tasks, techniques and procedures within one skill area / process / method. Applies basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps.
Works within clearly defined SOPs and / or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines. Works under general to limited supervision.
Verifies warranty entitlement (either through internal database(s) or directly with vendor
Coordinate outgoing RMA / RGA (Return Material / Goods Authorization) activity between BDB affiliate/or user and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Collect, Maintain and report material failure analysis data for Quality trending
Monitor and report on OEM Service Levels (i.e.: Cycle Time)
Monitor and report on applicable financial related activity. (i.e.: Logistic costs, material savings, etc.)
Coordinate / oversee return of Replacement / repaired material to originator (affiliate)
May assist with other Service Administration roles as required. i.e.: Service Supply Chain coordination.
Keeps abreast of the basic requirements for regulatory compliance in own area of work and complies with those requirements. Participates as required in training on regulatory issues affecting own area of work. Brings regulatory compliance questions/issues to the attention of management.
Follows Company Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) policies and procedures. Takes responsibility for safety in immediate work area. Participates in EH&S programs. Notifies supervisor of all observed hazardous conditions or unsafe work practices. May provide recommendations on maintaining the safety of the work environment.
Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
Obtains and/or maintains appropriate licenses / training / certifications, as needed. Has basic skills training in an analytical / scientific method or operational process area (e.g., material handling and management, logistics, manufacturing production).
