Job Description

Position Title: Warehouse Manager

Position summary: Honolulu Coffee Warehouse Manager provides leadership and support to our warehouse operation, retail outlets and e-commerce customers through prompt professional oversight.

Warehouse Manager Responsibilities:

  • Management of the day to day operations of the warehouse facility. Including oversight over creation of PO’s needed.
  • Diligently manages the inventory management, purchasing and receiving. Included but not limited to issuing credit memos, pick-lists generation, invoices, quotes etc.
  • Coordinate outbound shipping dates and product shipment to support franchise partners bi-monthly orders.
  • Management of inbound and out bound shipments freight forwarding companies. Coordinate shipments with companies.
  • E-commerce/ Customer Service: Expectations of responding to all inbound customer service emails within 24 hours of receipt. Effectively provide solutions when possible and proactively communicate throughout different departments to resolve similar potential customer issues in the future.
  • Web orders- oversees the picking and pulling of all weekly cafe orders. Ensuring that all customer orders are properly executed, packed labeled and shipped on time.
  • Bi-Weekly communication with Kaldi’s purchasing team to maximize on synergies and effective purchasing through economies of scale between the two companies.
  • Coordination and Communication: Proactive communication throughout all departments (café teams, bakery, roast team etc.) as warehouse inventory changes dictate.
  • QuickBooks- Work with Kaldi’s Purchasing team to manage all items entered into QuickBooks. Manage and effectively monitor the sales data and pricing related to all entry items.
  • Assists with the green coffee drop-off /deliveries/pick-ups as needed.
  • Assist store operations when needed, i.e. Holidays or floor support or events.

Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Leadership skills including a strong desire and ability to inspire, motivate and develop a diverse group of individuals with problem solving and trouble shooting skills. When working in the retail stores, this role is seen as a Brand Leader encompassing all company core values.
  • Effectively communicating any needs or opportunities to the senior leadership team.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Picking, packing, shipping and stocking products in the warehouse.
  • Pick ticket items correctly
  • Packing customer orders with care
  • Preparing orders for shipping
  • Stocking and rotating inventory
  • Assisting our valued customers with their pick up orders and other duties as assigned
  • Operation of pallet jacks and forklifts, training will be provided.
