Facilities Technician

We are currently seeking a Facilities Technician to join our team! You will be responsible for completing work orders and other required tasks.
Position summary: Our technicians provide our retail outlets, customers, and equipment manufacturers with prompt, professional servicing on their coffee and espresso equipment, point of sales systems, network needs, and overall café maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Provide prompt accurate service to our retail stores.
- Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion
- Estimate time and extent of repairs
- Perform routine preventive maintenance
- Assist with preinstall site visits, arrive prepared knowing exactly what equipment is being installed,
what utilities are needed, and have test kit to test water to determine filters. - Maintain material and supply inventory
- Maintain a proper stock of parts for Fetco, Bunn, Nuova Simonelli and La Marzocco –restock as needed
from our shop stock. - Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary
- Provide excellent customer service e.g. keeping our retail leaders informed as to when we’ll arrive, the service performed on their equipment, and the most likely reason the issue occurred – exceed their expectations with follow up phone calls, visits etc.
- Record, clearly & legibly, in detail the work performed at each visit
- Do your part in maintaining inventory pars and keeping an accurate inventory.
- Assess repair and maintenance needs in cafes as the needs arise. Communicate with leadership team with potential solutions. i.e. Cabinet repairs, paint, other fixtures.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields
- Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Deadline and detail-oriented
Leadership Responsibilities:
- Leadership skills including a strong desire and ability to inspire, motivate and develop a diverse group of individuals with Problem solving and trouble shooting skills.
- When working in the retail stores, this role is seen as a Brand. Communicating any needs or opportunities to the GMs or leadership team.
