Job Summary: 

Our Account Service Representative serves as a liaison between Homelink and our clients. The Account Service Representative is tasked with satisfying current account needs, expanding business in existing accounts, and facilitating revenue generating opportunities for Homelink. These opportunities are recognized through maintaining regular points of contact, coordinating and/or attending qualified meetings, oversight of submitted claims through the operational cycle, and collaborating with our Sales and Operations teams to enhance the Homelink customer base.


Essential Responsibilities: 

  • Maintains a positive relationship with existing clients to ensure we meet/exceed service needs.  
  • Serves as a daily communication contact for claim needs between existing clients and Homelink.
  • Operational duties as a Claims Manager. Oversight of claims assigned (including insurance adjuster approval and other operational needs for each claim). Partnership with Housing team to ensure claims are executed correctly and the housing process meets the needs of the insurance adjuster and policyholder. 
  • Contact existing customers to discover needs for expansion of services within accounts and offer options to clients based on potential requests that are found. 
  • Contact potential customers, within existing accounts, to discover needs and offer options based upon needs that are discovered.
  • Educating customers on Homelink’s scope of service..
  • Generating potential new business opportunities/leads within accounts. Making introduction to Account Executive team when applicable.  
  • Managing and solving customer complaints and/or concerns.
  • Strong partnership and communication with Sales and Operations team. 
  • Appropriately utilizing Salesforce automation tools to track progress, daily sales activities, manage pipeline, and report goals.
  • Collaborating with National Account Managers and Operational teammates to develop strategies and executional milestones to incrementally grow business opportunities.
  • Occasionally attend sales meetings for support as requested by Account Executives and/or National Account Managers.


Job Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field and/or equivalent work experience. 
  • 5+ years’ experience in customer service-based role. 
  • 2+ years’ experience in sales/marketing or public relations.  
  • 1+ years’ experience in insurance sales and marketing experience is a plus.  
  • Experience in Property Management, Real Estate, and/or Housing Industry is strongly preferred. 
  • Demonstrated success in building strong customer relationships and rapport.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify creative solutions. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Internally motivated to achieve company objectives and personal goals.
  • Highly energetic and self-motivated.
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite & CRM software. 


Work Environment and Physical Demands: 

  1. This job typically operates in a professional office environment. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, interviewing, on-boarding, training and day-to-day will be remote until further notice. Upon return, please be aware that this role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. 
  2. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate in both a verbal and written manner and must have the ability to hear and verbally respond during interactions with staff and customers. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
  3. This position is full-time. It will require a flexible schedule that may necessitate evenings/weekends and occasional travel (both local and nationwide).
