HomeWorks Energy is currently seeking a Sales Consultant to drive sales revenue for our Heating & Cooling business. This is a residential Heating & Cooling sales position. We provide a PAID TRAINING program. No need for cold calling as we supply all of your leads for you!

Responsibilities

  • Travels to customers’ homes to sell heating and cooling equipment, obtain orders or contracts for services which will be paid by customer
  • Manages account through the full life cycle of sales to successful install
  • Educates homeowners on the benefits of installing or improving their HVAC system
  • Provides homeowners with an H&C consultative experience
  • Obtains all sales/revenue objectives
  • Works with all divisions to cross-sell multiple products
  • Works cross-functionally with other departments

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience working in residential sales preferred or Service/Install experience with Sales abilities
  • Developed computer literacy; experience with Salesforce or CRM platforms a plus
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Able to work independently as the employee works exclusively outside of the office
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Exceptional verbal, written and listening skills

Work Environment

Generally work indoors and outdoors in residential settings.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, bend or kneel sometimes in confined spaces.

Salary: $80,000.00 to $150,000.00 /year

Job Description.

Heating and Cooling Specialist

Classification: Outside Sales Exemption

Reports To: Sales Manager/Director

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: Full-time position which requires in excess of 40 hours a week.

Summary/Objective:

The Heating and Cooling Specialist is responsible for driving and managing sales revenue within the North Shore, Metro West and South Shore territories for the Heating and Cooling department. This role will require the management of the H&C opportunities assigned from initial visit or call, through completed system installations.

Essential Functions:

  1. Travels to customers’ homes to sell heating and cooling equipment, obtain orders or contracts for services which will be paid by customer.

  2. Manages account through the full life cycle of sales to successful install.

  3. Educates homeowners on the benefits of installing or improving their HVAC system.

  4. Provides homeowners with an H&C consultative experience.

  5. Obtains all sales/revenue objectives.

  6. Provides exceptional customer service.

  7. Works with all divisions to cross-sell multiple products.

  8. Completes closing process and submits all necessary paperwork required in a timely manner.

  9. Works closely with backend office support that handles customer financing and rebates.

  10. Works closely with the install team.

  11. Continually works towards self-improvement on learning products and selling skills.

  12. Performs other tasks as required.

Required Skills/Experience:

  1. 1-3 years of experience working in home HVAC sales

  2. HVAC installation experience preferred

  3. Developed computer literacy; experience with Salesforce or CRM platforms a plus

  4. Excellent organization and time management skills

  5. Able to work independently as the employee works exclusively outside of the office

  6. Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management systems a plus

  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  8. Exceptional verbal, written and listening skills

Education/License Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  2. MA driver’s license

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities
