Your Role:

Join our dynamic team as an Operations Renewals Specialist! We’re seeking a passionate individual who thrives in a lively sales-minded environment. As the Operations Renewals Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in nurturing our residents during a critical part of their lease, ensuring a successful customer experience while supporting Pathlight in meeting its revenue targets.

What will you be doing?

  • Take the helm in boosting renewal performance to meet company goals, spearheading a sales-driven approach to retention and customer success.
  • Dive headfirst into owning this critical part of the resident journey, making daily renewal calls and maintaining relentless follow-up to keep our residents in the loop about their lease options and enticing terms.
  • Support the achievement of larger team metrics to related to overall Net Promoter Scores (NPS) and resident experience, including daily participation in managing general inbound calls and written inquiries
  • Engage with residents in a manner that can overcome objections and create a sense of urgency that encourages residents to come to a decision and continue leasing their current home or retract their notice to vacate to remain in the home
  • Prepare appropriate documentation and update database with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to negotiate with residents as it relates to maintenance requests, concessions, rental rates
  • Conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures and all state and federal regulations
  • Provide customer service experience aligned with our service motto, G.R.E.E.T. (Great Resident Experience Every Time) with urgency, empathy and professionalism
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

  • Ability to meet deadlines and focus on details
  • Possess strong phone energy and presence
  • Ability to quickly learn new software and report as required, timely and accurately
  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with a team
  • Ability to overcome objections and close the renewal opportunity
  • Strong and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Possess a strong passion for customer service and success to achieve goals

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Knowledge of Home Partners, state and local procedures on renewals
  • Knowledge and compliance with Fair Housing laws at all times
  • Obtain a real estate license within a reasonable time (upon request)
