Home Care Assistance is seeking 24-hour Live-in Caregivers 7am-7am (24 hours) for shifts. Live-In Care is essentially assisted living at home, provided in 24-hour shifts. This is a great way to work a lot of hours in a short time! You will be guaranteed five hours of uninterrupted sleep a night that will occur when the client is sleeping along with an additional 3 hours of rest time. Your client will provide a bed and a bathroom for you. 

You will sleep while your client is sleeping and you will have a lot of downtime to watch tv, work on homework, or spend quality time getting to know your client.

    Successful applicants will meet the following minimum requirements:

  • One year of professional or personal caregiving experience
  • CNA a plus, not required
  • Dementia/Alzheimer’s experience a plus
  • Valid Driver's License, automobile insurance, and reliable vehicle
  • Minimum high school diploma or GED required
  • Clean criminal background, including driving record
  • Must be willing to take an active role in engaging clients in social, cognitive, and purposeful activity
  • Must be comfortable using mobile technology
  • Open availability strongly preferred
  • Minimum two strong professional references
  • Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with errands, light housekeeping, meal preparation, grocery shopping, transportation, medication reminders
  • Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing, mobility, continence, eating and other services
  • Provide companionship for seniors
  • Report to Care Management staff
