HSI System Administrator

Description:
HSI is excited about our continued growth and are seeking a System Administrator to manage our server infrastructure. This position will require expert experience in Windows, Active Directory, Virtualization, Cloud, SAN's, and PowerShell. Candidates must also possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, documentation skills, presentation skills, and perform with minimal supervision.

Tasks and responsibilities include:

• Building scalable, highly available, mission critical virtual and on-premises infrastructures
• Disaster Recovery & Backup
• Identifying the need for IT system changes based on new security technologies or threats.
• Supporting multi-site environments.
• Managing technical requirements specific to redesign of the existing architecture, configuring and implementing scalable enterprise infrastructure and communicating requirements to senior management; both technical and non-technical.

This is a hybrid position that offers two work from home days.

Required Experience:

• Windows Server Operating Systems (2012 to 2019)
• Strong VMware Virtualization and Systems Administration principles and troubleshooting; including upgrades, and patching.
• Strong Project Management skills
• Active Directory engineering and management
• Group Policy Management
• Microsoft 365 and Azure
• Windows Failover Clustering
• Batch and PowerShell Scripting
• SAN management
• Windows Systems Security
• Windows Print Services and Secure Print administration
• Windows 7 and 10 Desktop Operating Systems
• MFA Setup and Administration
• End User Training

Education and Certifications

• The position requires a BS Degree and must have a minimum of 5 years of experience supporting servers; both virtual and on-prem. However, additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
• Must have experience leading technical teams with implementing and supporting system operations.
• Associated certifications are a plus.
