Job Description

Enriching lives through investment and service is the mission at the core of everything we do at Holladay. The Director of Administration supports this mission by managing and overseeing all commercial leases for the properties we serve.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Draft, review, monitor, and maintain all leases
  • Draft amendments and renewals to existing agreements
  • Develop, draft, and manage department documents, as needed
  • Oversee document collection/storage for due diligence
  • General support to marketing, leasing, property management and asset management
  • Assist HR in the identification and scheduling of training for property management based on current associate and manager development needs
  • Partner with HR and hiring managers in the recruitment and hiring process
  • All other duties, as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of leases, contract terminology, contract law and the real estate business in general is required
  • Must have the ability manage multiple projects and meet crucial deadlines
  • Ability communicate effectively with in different capacities throughout a day
  • Strong organizational and writing skills necessary for success
  • Previous experience as a paralegal, or other similar role, preferred
  • Flexibility is a must in this position because an ordinary day can change very quickly
  • Strong computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office package required
  • Good oral, written and interpersonal skills
  • Position requires regular day travel from corporate office to properties throughout the region
  • Valid Driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a MVR report acceptable to the company’s liability insurance carrier

Compensation:

The Director of Administration compensation will be based on experience and qualifications. This range is subject to local, state and regional dynamics and may be adjusted up or down depending on market conditions.

Physical Demands:

  • Able to sit at a desk for up to 6 hours
  • Able to climb 3 flights of stairs several times a day inspecting apartments or hallways
  • Able to read and follow instructions, warnings, procedures, etc.
  • Able to show vacant space, inspect grounds and facilities in adverse weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, cold, etc.)
  • Employee is required to stand, walk, sit, and must occasionally reach, stoop, kneel and crouch
  • Close vision and the ability to adjust focus is required
  • Able to maintain mobility to complete job tasks in adverse conditions (rain, snow, heat, cold).

Supervisory Responsibility:

  • This position does not have any supervisory responsibility
