Holcomb Behavioral Health Systems is seeking to hire an In-Home Community Support Coordinator.
Position specifics: Full Time Exempt
Locations: Exton, PA
Program: IDD, Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
The In-Home and Community Services Coordinator oversees all aspects of the operation of the Multi-County Community Services Program. Includes supervising program staff and ensuring that services are provided according to best practice standards that promote client recovery. All areas are primary job functions unless otherwise indicated.
Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:
- Competency: Ability to provide leadership and supervise professional and other staff .
- Provide direct supervision to IDD Coordinators through individual and group
- Maintain 24-hour availability to program staff and management for emergency
- Provide direct back-up supervisory support to programs, as needed.
- Provide direct service to clients as needed.
- Competency: Knowledge of recovery principles and cultural competency principles.
- Ensure all program services are compliant with recovery and cultural competency
Minimum Education Required: Bachelors degree in an IDD or behavioral health discipline. All degrees must be from an accredited institution of higher education.
Minimum Experience Required: Five years of employment experience in the behavioral health/ IDD field with two years of increasing supervisory responsibility for staff with bachelor degrees.
Four years of employment experience in the behavioral health /IDD field with two years of increasing supervisory responsibility for staff with master degrees.
Certifications Required: Complete and pass ODP Medication Administration Course for those working in residential programs.
Required Clearances: Pennsylvania Child Abuse clearance, Criminal clearance, and fingerprint based federal criminal history; Child Abuse Clearance if working with individuals under 18 years of age Verification that employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list
