Website developer, eCommerce Stack

We are seeking a Website Developer, ECommerce Stack tech to join our team! You will help us with extending our current offerings along with supporting a data/code server migration. 

Responsibilities:

• Design, create, and modify websites
• Convert written, graphic, audio, and video components to compatible web formats
• Create back-end code and interfaces for new web platforms
• Analyze user needs to implement web site content, graphics, performance, and capacity
• Integrate web sites with other computer applications
• Keep up-to-date on web developments and trends 

Qualifications:

• min of 3 years experience in setting up, maintaining and growing an e-commerce site
• Programming skills:  3 + years of PHP, JavaScript 
• Data base skills:  3 + years of MySQL, JQUERY
• OS working knowledge:  Linux, Apache, networking , MS Windows
• Working knowledge of AWS
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong attention to detail

Position Background:

Software repackaging of an existing e-commerce based Residential Genealogy business (Historic maps, with time lapse relationships).   Includes maintenance / growth of back end data bases (including curating existing data base of millions of images) ,  account and purchasing systems,  as well as front end.  The front end interacts with customers graphically or through  indexed search, map presentations and purchase/deliver; as well as programmatic interfaces for high volume 3rd party clients.    Customers transact on a pay per use or subscription basis.
