We are looking for a motivated Digital Pathology Technician. The Digital Pathology Technician will be responsible for supporting the operation of whole slide imaging systems and software platforms, performing high-quality scans, and maintaining equipment. The technician will work closely with pathologists to ensure that the digital imaging and analysis of specimens meet the required standards for accurate diagnosis. The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex problems, has excellent communication skills, team building experience, and thrives in a fast-paced setting that is constantly evolving. They should be a self-starter with demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business and technical challenges. Main Duties
+ Operate and maintain whole slide imaging systems and software platforms
+ Prepare and scan slides for digital analysis
+ Quality control and quality assurance of digital pathology images
+ Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and standards
+ Collaborate with engineering and other team members to optimize workflows
+ Perform data entry and manage data sets
+ Troubleshoot technical issues and communicate with technical support teams
+ Organizing slides and filing away inventory
+ Maintain equipment and perform regular maintenance checks
Requirements
+ Bachelor's degree in biology or related life science fields
+ Experience with whole slide imaging systems and digital pathology software
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
+ Good communication and interpersonal skills
+ Knowledge of laboratory safety and quality control practices
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
+ Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methods
