Job Description

Position Summary:

The Purchasing Administrator works within the Accounting Department and procures a wide range of products at the most competitive prices.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for purchasing both field and office supplies, tools, and materials
  • Generate accurate Purchase Orders, with items, prices, and vendors
  • Responsible for managing, monitoring, and receiving inventory properly. This includes unloading pallets and integrating new stock into inventory
  • Maintain the warehouse and ensure its cleanliness and organization
  • Perform regular audits on inventory and supplies
  • Ensures product, items, materials remain in stock and ready for use
  • Maintain files and all pertinent information concerning vendors and suppliers
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with vendors and suppliers
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Purchasing Supervisor

Experience, Educational, and Additional Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-year experience as a Purchasing Clerk or Administrator preferred
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must be friendly and possess a professional attitude
  • Must have strong organization skills and an attention to details
  • Must be able to work in outside elements 
  • Must be able to lift 75lb
  • Must have an operational knowledge of Microsoft Office software’s
  • Pass mandatory drug test required
