Technical Azure Architect

Austin, TX

Duration: 2+ Years

Experience: 10+ Years

Required Skills:

  • Experience in an advisory and guidance role around Azure Data Lake and related services to meet defined business purposes, capturing and documenting architectural requirements, technical research and development.

  • Experience advising and collaborating closely with infrastructure and security teams to determine interdependencies and coordinate/execute activities

  • Experience working and collaborating with IT development teams and business data analytics teams responsible for delivering business solutions

  • Data engineering: Hands-on experience with big data solutions on Azure and delivering data pipelines

  • Azure Data Lake Service

  • Azure Data Bricks

  • Azure SQL DW

  • Presto

  • Azure NoSQL solutions

  • Azure Data Factory and/or Talend Data Integration

  • Data engineering: cognitive services such as NLP on Azure services

  • Helpful to have PowerBI expertise/experience

  • Helpful to have data catalog expertise/experience
