OPERATIONS PROGRAM MANAGER
What you’ll do:
o You will lead the implementation and industrialization of critical products in the Factory.
o You will be responsible for NPI activities for products that have deliverables from both the optics and assembly organizations and supplier deliverables.
o You will evaluate products for make/buy decisions, take into account the manufacturing competencies for a competitive, cost or time to market, and will need to interact with development engineering project teams, report on production readiness, industrialization plans, proto schedules, and cost estimates.
o This position leads a matrixed cross functional team consisting of manufacturing engineers, new product logistics, optical engineers, sourcing, planning, and factory.
o You will follow new production introduction process including key decision milestones and design reviews.
o You will develop manufacturing readiness plans to introduce new products into production. This should include timelines, key milestones for prototype readiness, as well as ramp to pilot and volume.
o You will manage a cross
o You will manage key metrics such as cost of goods, labor hours, cycle times, on time delivery, etc.
o You will summarize budgetary needs for capital equipment and headcount.
Your Education
BS in a technical field or equivalent experience. Master’s strongly preferred
About you:
- You have a at least seven years of experience, and at least 3 of those years in either a Team or Project Leadership Role.
- You have worked with internal/external customers at a technical management level.
- You have Project Management skills and experience.
- You have strong experience working in ERP (preference SAP).
