ACCOUNT MANAGER / SALES ENGINEER

Our client is at the top of their field in the sale of electrical fans and motors. They seek an experienced Account Manager / Sales Engineer who will contribute to the continued growth of the organization. This position will serve from North Carolina to Maryland.

This position will require 50-75% travel.

  • Expand customer base – both direct OEM and distribution.
  • Network with direct sales force, manufacturing representatives and distribution to support the growth of IDT business.
  • Travel to customers to develop, maintain, and improve relationships and business opportunities.
  • Process project requests in terms of technical opportunities together with local sales support.
  • Follow up on sales leads from corporate.
  • Maintain carry over business and ensure customers are ordering within lead times.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelors’ degree in engineering or a related technical field and 4-5 years of field sales experience, or equivalent
  • Sales experience both OEM and distribution channels
  • Background in electrical or controls engineering
