Job Description

Responsibility

This person will be responsible for many day to day activities including: Identify Sale Opportunities, Identify and Promote Value Added Services, Promote Company Brand and Maintaining Professional Appearance & Attitude. The Sales – Major Account Representative is expected to understand the business, the business plan, and their role in helping to achieve the goals laid out in the plan. This person will primarily focus their sales effort on developing client relationships in the Information Technology industry. 

 

Duties

The job includes, but is not limited to, the following duties:

 

Sales Planning

  • Identify upselling opportunities
  • Identify and promote Value Added Services
  • High Level of Manager Networking
    • Identify communication issues and solutions to increase sales within a particular client and/or department
    • Notify Global Operations Manager as to the status of all contacts on a weekly basis
      • Recruiting will not be expected with this sales role
      • Ability to decipher contracts and implement policy
      • Apply strong relationship building skills to client contacts
        • Implement marketing campaigns
        • Identify new business within current client base and key prospective clients
        • Promote Company brand within client base
  • Maintain High Level of profit/loss accountability per client
  • Highest level of Account Management with ultimate responsibility for acceptable AR turnaround
  • Identify and create personal goals and sales action plan to meet those goals
  • Identify, promote and execute sales strategies amongst sales team
  • Identify and liaise with key contractors
  • Effectively plan and execute sales calls and visits to contractors
  • Collaborate with Global Operations Manager to implement and support company sales strategies & budgets

 

Client Relations

  • Ability to decipher contracts and implement policy
  • Apply strong relationship building skills to client contacts
    • Implement marketing campaigns
    • Identify new business within current client base and key prospective clients
    • Promote Company brand within client base

 

Key Accountabilities

1. Must be a diligent worker, must be willing to ask questions, strive for accuracy in all duties and willingness to be flexible and to learn more.

 2. Responsible for maintaining and enforcing the system of internal controls safeguarding assets.

 3. Must maintain confidentiality at all times.
