Director of Partnerships – How You Will Make an Impact

In this role, you will have primary ownership and be responsible for the overall strategy and execution of the Partner network, from negotiation and execution of sales agreements to ongoing relationship. You will:

  • Own the overall sales execution of the company's strategic market segments including account penetration into targeted accounts, executing on new opportunities within existing strategic accounts
  • Work closely with existing Partners to further solidify and grow key relationships including identifying opportunities for retention, working across departments (Sales and Marketing) to best partner with Channel Partners including events, communications, and other retention initiatives
  • Work closely across departments including with Marketing department to deliver ideas on tools for sales enablement (ie: collateral, messaging, content), overseeing new partner activation and onboarding and ensuring the Sales team is connected with the Partner sales team and has the resources they need to adequately promote the Partner programs
  • Identify potential Channel Partners through strategic initiatives and direct identification of potential Partners, working directly with the Sales team to ensure a strong pipeline
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the details of the embedded payments platforms and the value it brings to the market, sharing that value proposition with both internal and external partners.

Director of Partnerships – Required Skills, Prior Experience & Fit

You have:

  • Prior experience in payments processing, Fintech or related or have had experience working with payment gateways, token providers or related
  • Prior experience working closely across departments including Sales and Product teams
  • Highly experienced with pipeline development, lead flow management and sales strategy
  • Prior experience in a customer manager or customer success role, ideally in an oversight role (ideal)
  • Experience working in both small companies and larger companies (ideal)
  • Prior experience working in a SaaS company (ideal) or rapid growth company (ideal)

Role is 100% remote, in office or hybrid based on your desires. Salary range: $120,000 - $150,000 DOE and includes incentive compensation of at least 20%, based on revenue and closed win targets.
