Job Description

DC Operations Manager reports directly to the DC General Manager and is responsible for the daily operations of the of assigned functions within the DC. Assigned functions within the DC include Receiving, Picking, Shipping and Inventory Compliance.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Provides leadership and general management of DC staff in assigned functions. Includes staffing, training, operations, discipline, and other personnel issues
  • Develop strategies and objectives to maximize productivity while maintaining accuracy metrics
  • Establish goals and metrics for all functional areas and drive the team to meet or exceed these goals and metrics
  • Ensure a safe work environment
  • Establish SOPs in functional area and lead team in the execution of these SOPs
  • Ensure excellent customer satisfaction with on time delivery
  • Manage DC labor cost and other operating expenses. Responsible for meeting or exceeding DC budget
  • Champion all new roll-out programs and upgrades

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND/OR equivalent work experience
  • 7 years of distribution experience
  • 5 years of management experience
