CAD Drafter

Excellent opportunity for a CAD Draftsman to join an excellent team with an internationally recognized, award winning construction company.

This position is responsible for assisting in creating schematic designs from sales to project completion. In addition, you will ensure accuracy of new and existing product drawings and maintain procedures to provide proper construction document control.

RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to:

· Drawing of new and existing products to meet customer & product specifications.

· Ensures compliance with required design standards, manuals, zoning regulations, safety factors, and construction and engineering specifications.

· Work closely with other draftsman, sales staff and construction manager to ensure coordination design effort is maintained.

· Creates and revises project drawings.

· Review drawings for completeness and accuracy.

· Works with Design Manager regarding accuracy, design, drafting standards and design documentation.

· Detail oriented in jobs and specs to be more job specific.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Must have 3 – 5 years of AutoCAD Design Experience, preferably in the architecture or landscape architecture industry, but not necessary.

· Sufficient working knowledge of industry standard computer applications (Adobe Suite, Microsoft Suite, etc.) SketchUp knowledge is recommended but not required.

· Attention to detail is a must.

· Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

· Excellent communication skills for answering technical questions.

· Working Hours are Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

· Must be able to pass drug test
