Marketing and Administrative Assistant, Information Technology

The Marketing and Administrative Assistant position requires a multi-disciplined individual with a background in Marketing, Sales, General Business, or Information Technology. As a key person in our organization, you will be relied upon to provide qualified prospects in various Microsoft and complimentary solutions. You will be developing, executing, and performing ROI analysis of strategic and tactical marketing initiatives.
Some of your tasks include creating and redesigning of marketing communications, websites, social media, and updating material with more recent and relevant information. Persuasive demonstrations of Microsoft-based solutions via in-person events and web-based webinars. You may also be involved with planning, coordinating, and managing events.
Additional tasks include preparing and sending out agreements and policies, light technical documentation, accounting tasks, reviewing timesheet drafts, filing, and photocopying. Assist in preparing and distributing marketing materials. Communicate with vendors to request product information and research. Schedule client visits for technical staff and subsequent follow up to ensure client satisfaction. Assists with the monitoring of project phases to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as matters arise.
The position requires you to use Microsoft-based applications such as SharePoint, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Dynamics SL, and Office 365.
Compensation is negotiable, based on education, certifications, and proven experience. Part-time position as an option.
REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM
• Previous work experience in the position applying for
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to demonstrate software based on features and its benefits
• Type 55+ wpm, fast and accurate 10-key by touch
• Good math and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong telephone capabilities
• Able to work effectively both independently and within a team
• Able to learn new technology in a self-paced environment
• Neat and organized
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in work
• Exercises some independent judgment and reasoning within established guidelines
• Able to work under limited supervision
• Great people-person personality
• Enjoys using and learning about new technology
• Driver’s license and vehicle
PREFERRED
• 4-year college degree
• 2 years’ recent sales management or marketing experience
• Multi-channel marketing initiatives for IT-based services
• Proven presentation skills with PowerPoint
