Purpose of Position
As a member of the Hennessy Industries team, you will be part of an established, respected, global organization that strongly supports individual growth. As a Field Service Technician, Level 1, you will cultivate relationships with end users of Hennessy Industry’s Coats®, BaseLine®, Bada® and Ammco® after-market tire and wheel service equipment and accessories to grow the lifetime value of each customer.

As the key point of contact in the field for customers, you’ll advise them on proper equipment applications and work as a commissioned sales representative who helps them select the right accessories and decide when it is time for an addition or an upgrade. Designed for technically minded professionals with an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for customer service, the Field Service Technician, Level 1, position lets you set — and move — the bar, so you can deliver on your potential.
Specialize in the installation and basic repair of Coats®, BaseLineTM and Ammco® aftermarket tire and wheel service equipment.
Advise customers with application questions involving the use of our equipment including proper techniques and accessory usage.
Conduct installation and removal of tire and wheel service equipment.
Conduct product training and demonstration during installation of new equipment to end-users.
Conduct the billing and collection for services rendered including processing invoices as well as collecting cash, checks,and other forms of payment.
Manage parts inventory and perform a cycle count of inventory in each of the defined time periods.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Build strong relationships with customers of Hennessy products (shop managers, automotive technicians, and other members of the tire and wheel service industry) as well as with various employees of Hennessy, especially those in field service, customer service and finance

- A technical degree or equivalent combination of experience and education and/or military training is required.
Background and Skills
The successful candidate will possess 1-2 years’ experience in the maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of complex electromechanical equipment in an end-user environment.
Working knowledge of electrical systems, pneumatics and hydraulics including the ability to read schematics and use the appropriate testing devices proficiently.
Ability to plan, schedule and coordinate activities to satisfy customer needs on a timely basis.
Outstanding communication (both oral and written) skills.
Able to calculate costs for the end users, basic math skills.
Proficient in computer and internet usage.
A demonstrated dedication to and a history of providing outstanding service and support as well as a positive, professional, proactive presence that will develop confidence, trust and respect with our customers is required. - Clean driving record with current legal state driving license.
Physical requirements include the ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
Must be able to be bonded in the state(s) that you will operate in.
