Hennepin Healthcare System seeks a BC/BE, fellowship trained, Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist to diagnose and treat pediatric patients with mental, emotional, and behavioral problems, to determine nature and extent of mental disorders, and to formulate treatment programs utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and medications. Call will include 5-6 twenty-four hour periods during the year on the Inpatient Unit.
Our Child/Adolescent Psychiatry Clinic offers a variety of outpatient services to help children and adolescents who are having behavioral and emotional problems. Services include psychiatric and psychological evaluations, therapy, parenting skills counseling, and medication management.
- Possession of a current, unrestricted license to practice Medicine in the Statement of Minnesota, or be eligible for licensure
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN)
- Successful completion of a fellowship in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry
- Current, or eligible for, DEA certification
