Summary
As a Customer Service Representative, you will assist our customers by providing quotes, order status and you will respond to customer concerns, issues, and questions regarding Carbon Brush Technology.You will also enter, route, and expedite orders.
All requests are to be handled in a professional, timely, and positive manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Receive, analyze and edit pricing, shipping, location, and various other related customer details and information in a professional and positive manner. Work hand-in-hand with department personnel to provide customer clarification on product-related information.
Confirm order receipt and pricing information, successfully enter order into computerized system, distribute necessary order information in an organized and timely fashion via fax, email, standard mail, etc. and distribute shop order information after final printing.
Follow up with the customer to confirm receipt of fax, work with production personnel to expedite orders as needed or requested and work continuously with other department personnel and the Customer Service Supervisor to make improvements to processes and procedures.
Enter new customer accounts into the computer system.
Enter and expedite phone orders.
Give customers verbal quotations.
Create and maintain accurate customer records and documentation, generate customer memos, and attend department and production meetings as required. Fax, copy, scan, and input information as needed to support the efficient functioning of the department.
Work hand-in-hand with design and production employees to communicate customer needs and identify feasible production solutions. Produce and distribute customer quotes and perform basic product costing and pricing functions for carbon brushes.
Perform other functions as needed or required to meet Company Goals.
Education and/or Experience:
A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
2 years of Customer Service and data entry in a manufacture setting
Proficient in Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have working knowledge of Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. 10 key proficient. Typing speed of 50 words per minute.
