Job Description:

We are seeking a Fleet Operations Manager to drive performance in all aspects of fleet operations across our fleet of final mile light duty delivery vehicles across the US. The role will report to the Senior Manager, Fleet, and be responsible for managing most aspects of the vehicle's useful life cycle.

You will ...

• Manage vehicle in-fleeting and de-fleeting.
• Manage vehicle inventories and utilization.
• Control downtime across both mechanical and damage incidents.
• Perform PO reviews and approvals.
• Partner with various HelloFresh entities on interdepartmental initiatives.
• Continually expand the use of technology in fleet operations, especially telematics and fleet management software.
• Develop standard operating procedures for vehicle use, maintenance, and safety.
• Implement Continuous Improvement projects to improve fleet performance.
• Explore and implement new fleet technologies, especially electric vehicles.
• Manage a variety of fleet and operationally related special projects.
• Manage existing and create new relationships with a variety of vendors.
• Manage a variety of fleet vendors and suppliers.
• Continually expand the use of data and reporting to optimize fleet management.
• Contribute to creating, expanding, and continuously improving standardized fleet processes.
• Form close partnerships with local HelloFresh depots to support daily fleet operations.
• Position requires travel to multiple locations 20-40% of the time.

At a minimum, you have...

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5+ years of progressive Fleet Operations experience.
• 3+ years of Fleet Management experience in a leadership capacity.
• Or, a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
• Experience with Fleet Management and Telematics Software.
• Computer skills including Google Docs, Sheets, Excel, and Slides.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritize and manage your own workflow.
• Enthusiasm to work both independently and collaboratively to accomplish a shared goal.
• Bodywork and/or Electric Vehicle experience preferred.

New York Pay Range

$99,600 - $124,500 USD
