Job Description

Heggerty is looking for a talented Customer Success Specialist to join our growing team. 


The Customer Success Specialist is responsible for helping proactively build deeper relationships with our passionate customers across some of the largest districts in the country. 


Heggerty is an education publishing organization that offers an elementary literacy curriculum that is taught in more than 24,000 schools in the United States, Australia, and Canada. In addition to selling a teacher-friendly curriculum, flashcards, and other materials, Heggerty offers professional development services to educators, providing hands-on seminars and training sessions. 



  • Develop strong relationships with our customers and a deep understanding of their needs
  • Establish regular communication with Literacy/ELA department leaders in districts currently implementing Heggerty's products
  • Share new product/service information and resources to ensure our customers are successful 
  • Identify new customer champions to provide testimonials, data, and case studies
  • Collect customer feedback and insights to improve products and support R&D
  • Support customer support and sales organizations in providing implementation support and during contract renewals
  • Provide product demos as needed
  • Develop customer reports as requested
  • Attend conferences and events on occasion



  • Curiosity, empathy, and a passion for our mission
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Elementary Education required
  • Experience using or teaching the Heggerty curriculum required
  • Experience in a customer service, account management, or sales role strongly preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into insights
  • Must be located in Texas or Western United States (Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada)
