Our Project Managers

HPE's team of talented Project Managers provide superior leadership qualities in planning and coordinating activities of designated commercial mechanical construction, including HVAC sheet metal, plumbing and piping systems. Accountable for the budget, schedule, administration of contracts, buyout, cost control and project closeout. Consistently promote the policies, principles, and core values of HPE. Able to perform in organizational success to maintain schedules, productivity goals, and overall profitability.

  • Responsible for overall financial performance of all assigned projects
  • Initiate, review and oversee required project administration and documentation
  • Ensure contract and subcontract agreements are expeditiously secured, reviewed and executed
  • Review, edit, finalize and distribute project budget to project team
  • Conduct pre-construction turnover meetings for all assigned projects
  • Develop, submit and obtain approval of billing schedule of values
  • Price, negotiate and process change condition and change order work
  • Review, approve and process all subcontractor and supplier invoices
  • Prepare accurate, and on time, required monthly project contract valuations
  • Management of the maintenance of the project procurement log with correct date information
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education, Knowledge and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of work experience of commercial mechanical project management
  • Past record of managing projects on-budget, with exceptional quality and safety
  • Current construction standards, methods, procedures, sequencing, scheduling, tools and equipment
  • Preferred B.S. Construction Management, or Mechanical Engineering
  • 4 Yr. Apprenticeship in Mechanical Trade
