Job Description

Job Title:                    Recruiter

Reports to:                Director – Human Resources

 FLSA Status:             Exempt        

                               

We are 100% employee-owned through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).  This is a retirement benefit for our employees that is wholly paid for by the company in addition to 401(k)

Position Purpose:

The role of the Recruiter is to manage the organizations’ recruiting process under the guidance of the Human Resource Directors and other Management. The ideal individual will have experience working in

a high-volume recruiting environment, the ability to exercise sound judgment in various situations, strong written and verbal communication, advocacy skills, administrative and organizational skills, and 

the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•     Promotes the Hoffman companies to attract and recruit qualified job applicants

•     Collaborates with Human Resources and the applicable hiring managers to understand the needs and roles to be filled and the preferred attributes for potential hires.

•     Assists with the development and revision of job descriptions for selected positions.

•     Conducts employment related research and assists the Human Resources team with the sourcing of qualified candidates.

•     Assists Human Resources and hiring managers with customized screening and initial contact of applicants to determine qualification and interest level.

•     Vets candidate credentials.

•     Organizes recruitment and interview processes from start to finish.

•     In collaboration with Management and Human Resources, organizes and implements internship program for potential recruits.

•     Assists in coordinating/completing pre-employment assessments

•     Assists with coordinating and attending job fairs and on-campus college recruitment events.

•     Posts jobs and maintains ATS in HRIS.

•     Refers appropriate candidates to applicable hiring manager and recruiter (when utilized).

•     Participates in and provides analytical support in design, development, and implementation of recruitment projects and programs.

•     Develops, maintains, and acts as a resource for comprehensive knowledge of recruitment, employment, compensation, benefits, pay administration, and other related organizational

policies, practices, procedures, and/or regulations impacting recruiting.

•     Assists with identifying issues affecting recruitment and implementing recruitment activities to continuously improve process.

•     Monitors social media postings regarding the organization and addresses any unfavorable reviews.

•     Monitors new hire / employee experience to advise regarding improving rates of retention.

•     Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements:

•     Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred but not required

•     3 or more years recruiting experience

•     ADP Workforce Now experience preferred

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

•     Proficient with office management systems, ATS, HRIS and MS Office

•     Experience exercising discretion and confidentiality with sensitive company information

•     Excellent organizational skills with an ability to think proactively and prioritize work

•     High attention to detail and accuracy

•     Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends

•     Ability to travel occasionally, with some overnight stays

•     Successfully build relationships (including remotely), strong people skills
