Sales Coordinator - NYC

We are looking for a Sales Coordinator, based in NYC, to provide support to the sales team on day-to-day activities and projects. In addition to supporting the team with commercial projects, the Sales Coordinator will also support our residential consumer business. Our ideal candidate is an organized, energetic, detail-oriented self-starter, who has a desire to make a large impact on a growing organization.

Responsibilities:

• General showroom management duties including keeping showroom tour/customer ready. • Responsible for keeping sales resource folders up to date.

• Distributing marketing materials to sales teams.

• Assist sales teams with replacement orders.

• Assist sales team on various projects to help meet their goals, including managing inventory with samples and supporting team with necessary presentation materials.

• Respond to and support all direct heartwork.com residential inquiries from consumers, providing sales support as needed, pre and post-sale.

• Report weekly on commercial and residential business, identify opportunities and escalate any areas for support.

Qualifications:

• 1-2+ years industry experience with furniture, architectural products, interior design, etc. • Organized and detail oriented

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced changing, entrepreneurial environment • Self-starter and team player

• Curious, problem-solver, who loves to identify opportunities and design solutions for change and growth

Preferred Experience:

• 1-2 years in the Commercial Furniture Industry or DTC sales experience

• Passionate about design

• Start-up experience a plus

• Shopify and CRM experience a plus

Compensation:

Competitive base salary with eligible quarterly bonus and company equity. Health care benefits (medical, dental and vision) to be covered for employee through Heartwork group plan, plus 401K.
