Healthy Choice Wellness Centers’ services are designed to address one or more common concerns, including but not limited to immunity, anxiety, mental fortitude, sports recovery, and more. Through these services, which include IV Nutrient Drip Infusions and Intramuscular (IM) Injection Treatments, Healthy Choice Wellness Centers seek to provide healthy alternatives that treat the mind and body to its core, thus offering optimized Healthier Living.


We have an exciting opportunity for a Director of Finance Operations! This fully REMOTE position can be based anywhere in the U.S., with a preference for the East Coast as our leadership team and stores are in NY, NJ and FL. This position requires occasional travel to these locations to interact and work with leadership and store management. As a valued and key team member, reporting to the CFO, you will devote most of your time to ensuring proper financial efficiencies for Healthier Choices Management Corp’s (HCMC) financial operations. The Director of Finance Operations is an experienced finance generalist responsible for overseeing accounts payable, cash flow, invoices, and accounts receivable, as well as being the key liaison between the finance department and business operations. Key finance tasks are handled by an offshore finance team that the Director will oversee and manage.

In addition to technical acumen, this individual must have excellent communication skills, and a genuine love of people, as they will assist the controller in the monthly financial close and lead the review of the financial statement with the operational lead for each business unit. They will assist Healthier Choices Management Corp (HCMC) leadership team in making important financial decisions, will monitor reports and come up with creative solutions to reduce costs, they will keep up to date on the financial market to be prepared for any pivots that the market might demand. The Director of Finance Operations will also be responsible for ensuring all State and Federal financial laws and regulations are followed by Healthier Choices Management Corp’s (HCMC) and will implement regular checks to ensure compliance. The Director of Finance Operations will also work with the HR Director to monitor payroll and payroll cost tracking. They will have a strong background in corporate finance and cost reduction. The position will offer advice to the executive team on sound financial moves and budgeting questions. The Director of Finance Operations will also be responsible for preparing ad-hoc financial reporting and outlines that can break down complex models that others can understand and work with. The ideal candidate will have experience building departmental procedures and processes. They will also be detail-oriented, highly organized, and the ability to think critically and stay solution oriented.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

· A key part of this role will be to lead, manage and oversee the offshore finance team.

· Routine collaboration and communication with Finance, Human Resources and the Operations departments.

· Create and analyze ad-hoc financial reporting to ensure operational efficiency for all departments.

· Create and prepare reports that are digestible for all team members.

· Advise executive leadership team on all budget and budgeting decisions.

· Oversees all accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

· Ensure Federal and State compliance in all finance matters for the company.

· Regularly audits accounts to ensure compliance.

· Assist in preparing and communicating monthly financial information and key performance indicators to leadership.

· Works collaboratively with other department heads or leads to institute cost-saving measures.

· Create and implement processes and procedures for the finance & accounting departments.

· Review financial aspects of all proposals and contracts.

· Assist leadership team with creating annual budgets.

· Oversees and creates business activity reports, financial forecasts, and budgets.

· Performs other duties assigned in relation to the financial management of Healthier Choices Management Corp (HCMC).

· Oversee one direct report.


Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· 5-10 years of experience as a Controller, Financial Lead or Director of Finance.

· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Financial Management.

· Excellent management and supervisory skills.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Proficient in Excel or Google equivalent programs (Sheets, Docs, Slides).

· Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.

· Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

· Proven progressive history of financial management for a business or corporation.

· Desire to learn more about the health and wellness industry.

· PLUS: Big 4 accounting experience.
