Healthcare Resource Group (HRG) provides revenue cycle services to hospitals and clinics throughout the US. We do registration, coding, billing, collections, resolution and accounting. The ideal candidate will be customer- service oriented, have strong attention to detail and quality while still meeting tight deadlines, possess great organization skills and have the ability to switch gears and prioritize. A high level of integrity and discretion is required in handling confidential information and professionalism in communicating with management, employees, and clients.
The Office Assistant represents HRG to a diverse group of important external callers and visitors as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization. The position requires one to be able to work independently, and within a team, on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects.
Sorts and distributes incoming and outgoing mail
Processes all classes of mail including express mail and private carriers, to ensure adherence to proper size, weight, postage and other postal requirements
Answers telephones, directs calls and takes messages
Greets and directs visitors, including vendors, clients, job candidates and customers
Coordinate building maintenance
Manage ordering and distribution of supplies
Performs general administrative duties
Minimum 2 year administrative / customer service experience
Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
Ability to handle administrative details independently, while exercising good judgment in
Keeping team members adequately informed
