We're seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our SMB sales teams. The Sales Manager of SMB Sales will be responsible for building and growing the team, including upskillng and creating career pathways for existing employees. This individual will work in lockstep with our Chief Revenue Officer to build our strategies for onboarding/training new sales people. This is a remote role - we are hiring in all states!

Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, this role will be responsible for:

  • Managing and leading a sales team to support a well-orchestrated and deeply connected growth engine; including hiring, development, and achievement of defined team and individual goals and successfully targeting SMB to mid-size customers.
  • Prospect to generate interest and grow your team's book of business
  • Drive standards and processes that enable a world-class sales organization
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the industry and our business, speaking at industry conferences; past public speaking experience desired
  • Ensuring compliance of sales strategy, including maintaining CRM, sales documents and a smooth delivery process
  • The ability to be agile & multi-task (you are someone that can have your email open, while on the phone, and talking over chat)
  • High need for achievement and competition. Loves to compete and win.
  • Enthusiastic, optimistic & certain of victory. Unfazed by rejection.
  • Coachable. Listens to and implements advice from the manager.
  • Resourceful. Goes over, under, around a challenge to find success.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of managing Account Executives
  • Demonstrated results in building strong, effective teams at a high-growth startup. We're an organization of 50 people. It's a plus if you've worked in and helped grow a company that's a similar size.
  • Phenomenal coaching and teaching skills to invest and grow your team, making them stronger in their professional roles
  • Hubspot experience
  • Sales focused mentality with an emphasis on bringing new clients in the door and best-in-class prospecting on Inbound and Outbound leads.
  • Up-to-speed on modern and innovative sales operations practices.
  • Highly quantitative with excellent analytical thinking skills. Ability to solve ambiguous problems with data.
  • Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environment with aggressive company and individual goals.
  • Strong verbal and written communicator with outstanding project management skills and impeccable business judgment.
  • BA is required, but life experience solving the challenges above is most important
  • Strong attention to detail, work ethic, and communication skills
  • We're looking for someone that can help us build a brand people love, but that also understands that that doesn't mean always giving the customer everything they ask for. We operate in a very tough field - our customers struggle with recruiting and retaining front-line healthcare professionals.
  • Past experience working with both SMB and enterprise customers preferred
  • Past experience running or working closely with call centers
  • Tech-savvy
  • Willingness and ability to work remote
