Office Assistant

HealthStar Home Health has an opportunity to join our growing Cloquet office as an Office Assistant! As the Office Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for our caregivers, clients, and visitors to the office. What your day will look like:

• Be the first point of contact for employees, clients, and visitors. You'll be answering all incoming calls to the office, routing calls to the appropriate individual, greeting visitors as the come into the office, and answering general questions for clients and staff.
• Coordinate and perform initial/annual training. Manage the training schedule for our caregivers and coordinate with them to schedule their annual training. Work with new employees and help them get onboarded with the Cloquet office.
• Input data into electronic systems. Enter employee and client information into the appropriate electronic systems timely and accurately

• The ability to think quickly, problem-solve, and work both independently and as a part of an interdisciplinary team
• Comfortable making phone calls to other agencies, clinics, and referral sources
• Comfortable training small groups of people while keeping them engaged
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (yes, even Excel)
• Positive attitude and a great work ethic is a must
