The PMO Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating small projects and tracking critical tasks not meeting the requirements for a full project. The PMO Project Coordinator meets this standard by effectively applying both business knowledge and technical expertise to support business initiatives and solve business problems. The PMO Project Coordinator should be able to interact with associates at all levels in the organization, external clients and vendors. This role works closely and collaboratively with Directors and Managers as well as goals and objectives of the organization. The PMO Project Coordinator manages day-to-day administrative functions for designated projects to include PMO support, project management, communications at every level of the organization and with external vendors and regulators, and project budgeting.

Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree degree with a concentration in health care related field (Preferred) Or
High School Diploma or GED (Required)

Minimum Work Experience
2 years 2 or more years of experience working in a health care setting (Required)

Job Functions

  • In collaboration with the PMO team; assist with development of project plans and documents for large and mid-size projects.
  • Create project plans and lead small projects
  • Develop and maintain reports to support projects and critical tasks assigned.
  • Track status of critical tasks to ensure timely completion
  • Work with organization leadership to coordinate critical responses to regulators and other external bodies, that require cross functional input and/or reporting.
  • Serve as a communication link between HSCSN departments and external groups involved with Project (e.g., coordinate project meeting timelines, convey concerns about project).
  • Independently research, develop, and compose presentation materials for a variety of settings; prepare charts, graphs and reports.
  • Assures the ongoing high performance level of the overall department through continued knowledge acquisition and knowledge sharing with co-workers.
  • Identify and understand issues, problems, and opportunities; determine potential courses of action and develop appropriate solutions.
  • Coordinate quarterly Quality Executive Committee meetings.
  • May perform other duties in addition to those outlined in this job description.
