Medical Clinic Office Manager
We are looking for a Medical Office Manager to join a very busy family practice and Walk In Clinic and help it grow. We are looking for an individual with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as a leader in a medical practice environment handling multiples doctors and staff. We’re looking for a positive and enthusiastic Office Manager who can lead, guide and motivate the team to provide excellent customer service skills and patient care. The successful candidate will thrive on building patient relationships and contributing to the ongoing success and growth of the practice.
Responsibilities and Duties
Oversee the successful management of the entire clinic
Oversee physicians scheduling
Managing and Scheduling staff
Manage all facilities and technical support issues
Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed
Ensure that MOAs follow office policies
Act as a liaison with physicians, technicians, and other staff
Order/purchasing office supplies
Communication with electronic medical records (EMR) provider
Maintain the clinic e-mail account
Assist with the development/modification and implementation of clinic policies
Responsible for OHIP billing, correcting billing errors and submissions.
Must know how to deal with WSIB, IFH and Lawyer requests
Overlooking the Staff who is maintaining the vaccine fridge and temperature logbook, order vaccines, and other lab supplies.
Oscar EMR knowledge is an asset
Having an RPN diploma, Phlebotomy Certificate and IM Injection certificate is an asset.
A Medical Office Assistant Certificate from an accredited educational facility would be an asset.
Candidates for the position Must have at least 3-5 year of experience being a clinic/office manager in a physician’s office or medical clinic.
Must have handled multiple physicians
Must have handled minimum 5-7 employees
Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR) is essential.

Medical Office or Healthcare Experience
