Healogics is hiring for a Clinical Front Office Coordinator for our Wound Care Center in Lakewood, Colorado The Clinical Front Office Coordinator manages a variety of front office functions and is key to smooth operation of a dynamic outpatient wound care center as well as performs general office duties to assist the staff of the WCC. This individual serves in a dual administrative/clinical role to streamline workflow in providing effective and exceptional patient care. These tasks include patient communication, organizing and documenting monthly data, patient’s intake and discharge, and assisting the RN to patient care.

Clinical Front Office Coordinator Job Responsibilities: Coordinate with Center leadership to maximize daily patient census Greet patients and other visitors, answer and route calls to appropriate staff Maintain all patient communication needs including scheduling, rescheduling, and appointment reminders Obtain and verify patient insurance information, to include pre-certifications and pre-authorizations for services and enters data in appropriate databases. Under the direction of the RN/Provider, provide wound-related patient care May perform hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO), training is provided Clinical Front Office Coordinator Education and Experience Requirements: High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED); Associate’s degree preferred Graduate from a Medical Assistant OR Nursing Assistant program approved by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Program (CAAHEP) or by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) OR Emergency Medical Technician / Paramedic certification program Current CMA, CNA or EMT certification – to be maintained throughout the duration of employment in the position Two (2) or more years office administration experience, preferably in a medical setting Six (6) or more months of related experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit preferred Prior medical coding experience preferred Availability to work Monday – Friday standard daytime business hours The Clinical Front Office Coordinator will be joining a team of compassionate Wound Specialists that have touched the lives of more than 2.5 million people, preserving dignity and restoring hope. The hourly rate for this position generally ranges between $16.30- $21.00. This range is an estimate based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs, and other considerations permitted by law. ??
